44K meets the work plane. At least I only have to buy the fuel for one of them!

Not this time. I had flown the Pacer home after my trip ended a few days earlier. I went back down to get the pictures with friend's (outgoing skipper) nice camera.
I will be flying to work on the 19th. After 22 years of commuting to Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, and other places to begin/end my trips, I am in heaven!!

The RV is on a long term rehab, and is spread about the hangar at KJAQ.

Just remove the wings and you could slip 44K right in the cargo door and take it along with you.

Kurt! Photo foul! You have to have your Colt in the shot! Well OK, Peter did not, but he is the boss and gets to set his own standards!
They sure did not exhaust the color palette on that paint scheme, did they? I realize that closer inspection of my work plane will reveal that most of the lower trim is actually grease and dirt from foreign lands, but it is something!

Well, probably going to keep it in Lampasas I believe they have a few left. I sure wish they would build some covered parking though

Here's a great picture of Bev Jewett's Pacer. I'm flying it home the other day from maintenance for his family. Bev passed away in March.

N1231C as I am putting it back in the barn at sunset. Included a shot of my panel, too. Hoping to put in an EI UBG-16 and FP-5-90 soon!

I have to tell you that this is the first time I have allowed a nosewheel challenged plane to serve as my desktop photo! Linda (Jim?) really nailed the exposure and shutter speed on this photo!

    Default Double the fun

Here are my two short wings. A 1955 Tri Pacer and a 1961 Colt. My son got his Private License in the Tri Pacer last month. While he was working towards his license, he was hogging all the Tri Pacer flying, so I got a tailwheel Colt and had it painted to match. Can't wait til he is back from college to go to fly ins/breakfasts!

Taytoo, that is everyones dream to have two or three Short Wings. Great Fun. I don't know were you live but would very much like to have both airplanes at the 2015 Short Wing Piper Club Convention in Branson, Mo.
