    Metalized Clipper

I have a Clipper that was metalized by Skycraft in 1960, with a resulting 54# increase in aircraft weight. The fuselage now looks like my Mooney's which also has a metal tubing frame with aluminum skin. Does anyone out there know how many Clippers were metalized and if any others are still flying today? I had a metalized TriPacer in the past and was amazed at how stout the wings become with the metal conversion. I haven't flown a fabric Clipper, but my metalized version is sure a hoot to fly, more so than my recently restored and tricked out PA-12. Do any of you Clipper mavens out there have any data for me? Thanks.
