Making my Tri Pacer into a tail dragger, need to be able to use it on skis. What should I expect for center of gravity in doing this mod.I am hoping to be able to leave the battery under the seat.

Thought the nose ski would get hit by the prop, and we fly off a grass strip so the tail wheel seems to work better.

Actully I can use th 82 inch seaplane prop on skiis that i can not use on wheels. The nose ski uses a special device called a rigger so there is no bungie in front of the ski.

Did you ever find any info about weight and balance with the conversion? I plan on doing the same thing to a PA-22 airframe I've just bought.
