    Default Oil Cooler for O-290D

Need to overhaul or replace the oil cooler on an early PA-22 125HP O-290D. Anyone have experience with replacement oil coolers? Anyone have experience with refurbs?
    Thanks,
    Dave

Dave is this oil cooler the original one mounted in the shroud on the back of the engine? I think I may have one with about 1200 hours on it. If I do you can have it at shipping cost.

Thanks Fred. Yes, mine's atop the rear of the engine under the shroud. I'll be happy to take yours off your hands. If you want to contact UPS or FedEx and send it down I'll be happy to pay the bill. Ship to: Dave Smith, 33213 Big Range Dr., Winchester, CA 92596.

My hat's off to Pacer drivers. I tried one - - had that airplane all over the runway! Went to the TriPacer as a solution for an old man. Spoiled by 30 years in a Stinson 108-1.
