    Default Going to IFR panel

I'm always going to get that instrument rating. I'd like to hear from anyone who has converted a basic VFR six pack panel - and kept the plane certificated. what did you do? Did you go glass, STC's, 337's, how much $$'s, what did you do for an autopilot, etc. And (1) how long was your plane out of service (2) does ATC accept or give the yeah right treatment? Thanks! Dennis

Still like to hear from any one who has, or converted to, an IFR panel, PA-22/150. Thanks! Dennis

Dennis, My 55 tripacer was converted to full IFR when resurrected in 1990. PM me your email or phone for text pictures. I know they made the panel taller - the radio stack is in the center. No autopilot (hoping technology trickles down to our classics).

Thanks. No 6-year-old around to help me, what does “PM me your email...” mean?
