I'm Tom Downey, I live in Oak Harbor Wa. and am currently in progress restoring a Clipper, the wings are done, but the fuselage is in pretty bad condition. I'm searching for a new one.
The question is, is there any one building them? I do not require a PMAed part. I am an A&P-IA that can return to service as a repair.

Tom, I'm not sure how the 22/20 airframe differs from the 18...but I posted it just in case its a match. Perhaps other more experienced owners can comment?

I'm taking a real lesson on PA 16 & 20/22 fuselages. As I understand so far the basic dimensions of the two models are the same, but many of the control cable brackets are different because of the yoke/stick difference.
The fuselage we have is repairable, I was hoping we could fine a perfect one cheap. (of course) but that seems hopeless. Thus we have started the repairs to replace the left side rear door post and lower rear longerons. Plus anything else we find when it gets cleaned.

Sorry to hear that...but you'll definitely be sure of what's keeping you in the air once you're done!
All the best,
