Today my tach gave up the ghost. I was hoping it was the cable but no such luck. I don't know if it's the original, but it is 3 1/2" in dia. and made by Stewart Warner. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? I don't know if it is worth fixing, the parts don't seem to fit well together.( of coarse I took it apart and had trouble putting it back together) The Wag Aero tack looks very attractive, but it is 3 1/8" and will spoil the looks of my panel. HELP!!

There is a thread on the Tripacer re tachos.

I've just order the Spruce one in light of the thread comments, see

Thanks, but the tach is 3.5" and I would like to keep th "antique" look.
The threads are different also so I would have to put in a new cable.

See PA-22 tach post on possible repair.

Here's a company that may be able to help you. They fixed my 3 in 1 oil temp/pressure-fuel pressure gauge when no one else seemed to want to work on it. Only thing to deal with is that they are non certificated, which means your A&P will have to be willing to inspect their work and sign off on it.
