    Manifold Pressure Guage

In our restore we pulled a Manifold Pressure Gauge out of the panel. We are thinking about not putting it back in. Is there any need for this unit if we do not have a constant speed prop.

    Thanks, Kim

Nope. It does [poor -and I'm being "kind"] duty as an aid for indicating carburetor ice, but certainly not well enough to warrant keeping it. EVERYbody has need for "another big hole" in their panel...panel space is at such a premium in these airplanes... and it isn't "required" to be there without a CS prop.
