    Now this is refreshing

I can almost afford to fly. One of our local airports has 100LL for 3.05 a gallon. Air-Nav lists Bridgeport TX. as having the least expensive av-gas at $2.599 per gallon

That really is a good price. And I thought it was big news the day before yesterday, when it went to 3.99 at my field! Jim

I drove through Bridgeport today. Should have crammed the wife and kids in the truck for the trip to Grandma's house. Would have left room for the 55 gallon drum.

Still $4.70 a gallon in Sioux Falls. However, I did see auto fuel at $1.66 yesterday. so hopefully prices for av gas will drop soon.

I think it's still $4.25 here in Northern ND, unfortunately they only need to buy fuel in the summers for spraying, so I don't think we're going to see those prices up here. Glad someone benefits though.

I flew my daughter and her boyfriend over to Bridgeport yesterday and got 30 gallons of $2.59 100LL. Wow, $78 to fill up my airplane. It was costing me more than that a few months ago to fill up me truck.

Let's see, a $2.20 per gallon savings, driving a truck with gas tank in the box, getting 12 miles per gallon of $1.75/ gallon gas for a 2400 mile round trip means I have to haul about 1600 gallons home to break even on expenses. Hmmm, if I could get a 2000 gallon tank mounted on the truck I'd be set, except for the cost of the tank. Ahhh, maybe it's best to just stay home and take the pain of $4.70 av gas.

$3.75 at KLHM here in Northern CA. I think it's time to fly!

I just paid $1.70 for gas for my truck today; truly remarkable for the bay area where I was paying 4.65 earlier this year. The airports always lag behind, cause they don't sell as much, but, I'm licking my chops!

While AV gas is still $4.49 here in SD, ethanol blended (10%) gas is $1.49 and E-85 is $1.35 in some stations.
