    Default elevator travel

Reassembling my pa-20 after an 8 yr restoration found my lower elevator horn making contact with stop on rear fuselage at about 18 degrees of travel. The horn appears to be longer aft of the elevator attach than what appears in the piper drawings. Also the yoke does not hit the stop under the instrument panel.
I would estimate the lower horn is .75 inches longer than shown in the drawings.
I have checked the part # in the pa=20 parts catalog and found it to be correct.
    Any ideas are appreciated.

I think there is a complete rigging spec listed on Andy's site. I may still have it stored in my puter but not sure. If you cant find it, let me know. I have a printed version in my hanger, somewhere?

It sounds like you are missing a part, have you instoled the piece on the top elevator horn with the spring on it, and the stop on the bottom elevator horn is a metal tab attached to the horn, which butts up against the fusalage tab
