I installed the Stratus ESG ADAB in/Out. It works well and seamlessly links to my iPad. What I cant find is a really good place to mount the iPad. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Guardian avionics makes an I Pad and I pad mini flush panel mount. https://www.guardianavionics.com/iPa...fied_c_30.html
I have been working on a panel overlay that will house the I pad mount. It’s made from .040 thick 3003 Aluminum.

Todd,
Thanks for the information, please post pictures of how it turns out
That's as good a place as any. I have mine suction cupped to the left side of the windshield. I don't like it there because it cuts down on visibility, but I didn't have a mount to put it anywhere else.
Not going to use. Any interest in it?
I can put in the classifieds
It's tempting but probably not.
We're going to re-do our avionics down the road to make our PA-22/20 IFR capable. However, we'll most likely start with a Garmin 430, a couple nav coms and an audio panel/intercom in the center stack, and run our iPad as an external unit off our Stratux.
Right now, pending the above mentioned avionics upgrade, we have our iPad mounted over the center stack - where there are no radios. *IF* were were just going to install a com, and a transponder and went with the Trig instrument hole mounted units, this would still work great. If we ultimately decide to keep it VFR only, we'll do a more permanent version of this.
The other alternative would be a yoke mount, but I'd put it on the right side yoke so it would not be blocking my view of the VSI, TC and altimeter in my panel.
