Default 50 Pacer brake master cylinders

Working on getting field approval for replacing the old electrol master cylinders. Grove makes the 692-3 which is almost identical to the old master cylinders.

One of the biggest differences is the parking brake. The old used an offset lever and spring over the shaft. The grove master cylinder has no provisions for mounting the old style. I am planning on mounting a grove parking brake valve on the bracket for mounting the hoof shuttle valve.

Thought I should save the hoof valve mount just in case I want to add dual controls some day. Made a hat section out of 2024T3 and mounted a parking brake valve mock up (piece of wood) on it. Positioned the mock up valve to clear everything And made simple lines to check their routing. It all fits under the floor and the old push pull cable will easily attach to it.

Took pictures and made drawings for the field approval.

That's a good idea. I'm no mechanic nor can I offer any guidance or advice, but what you are doing looks good.
