Thanks for the pictures Bryan. I like it. I'm going to have to do something like that when I get my ifly700.

To install... thread the bolt in, always aligned with outside flats vertical, and adjust until the GPS fits 'snug'. Then to pre-load it enough to help secure it and keep it from rolling side to side, I use a short piece of foam that I wedge behind the unit as I slide it down onto the bolt-mount.

again.. sorry for the blurry images... but hopefully you get the idea.

That's a slick mounting scheme! It really looks like it was made to be there. Nice work! How do you like the Adventure Pilot? I've been using ForeFlight on the iPad2, but I've always been curious about Adventure Pilot.

I've been really pleased with the ifly700. It is very simple to use and has a nice size screen and they keep updating and adding features. I did not have an ipad at the time that I chose to go with the ifly700. I have tried a couple of the ipad options (though not in the airplane)... and will likely choose one to use as a supplement or back up to the ifly700. As I haven't tried the ipad in the cockpit yet, it just seems that it may be too big... not sure I could mount it on my lap without getting in the way of the controls...

44K meets the work plane. At least I only have to buy the fuel for one of them!

Not this time. I had flown the Pacer home after my trip ended a few days earlier. I went back down to get the pictures with friend's (outgoing skipper) nice camera.
I will be flying to work on the 19th. After 22 years of commuting to Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, and other places to begin/end my trips, I am in heaven!!

The RV is on a long term rehab, and is spread about the hangar at KJAQ.

Just remove the wings and you could slip 44K right in the cargo door and take it along with you.

Kurt! Photo foul! You have to have your Colt in the shot! Well OK, Peter did not, but he is the boss and gets to set his own standards!
They sure did not exhaust the color palette on that paint scheme, did they? I realize that closer inspection of my work plane will reveal that most of the lower trim is actually grease and dirt from foreign lands, but it is something!
